The Camp Experience

  • The largest private park in the world. The COC park is never shared with the public or any other camps. Our park is so big it's almost double the size of any camp in Whistler or Mt. Hood. Designed for everyone to get the kind of terrain they need to progress, beginners in the park to up and coming pro riders.
  • All coaching is "One-on-One"; in small groups with a ratio of 1 coach to every 4 to 8 campers. The size of your group depends on your ability
  • Instruction one on one all day, every day from 8am to 3pm
  • All lift tickets for duration of stay
  • Deluxe option includes accommodations in "THE DORM". We've hooked up with Whistler Blackcomb to create THE DORM where we can do what ever we want. There are four campers per two bedroom suite. We've turned "The Dorm" into the coolest snowboard oriented hotel anywhere. One of the buildings was completely refurbished in 2007 and our second building is being refurbished as I type this. New flooring, new paint, new furniture, redone top to bottom. The Dorm has better security, the coolest staff, no crusties, other guests, Olympic profiteers/accommodation companies anywhere, both buildings are filled with snowboarders, skiers and mountain bikers. Your board is allowed in the rooms, you can skate in the halls until 7:00 PM and more. It's the best. We drop in four games rooms with multiple 61" flatscreens, Xboxes with the latest games from EA, comfy couches, and kitchens. We also drop in the "6-10" our convenience store that we joke is almost as good as 7-11, the Demo Room with all the coolest Private Label COC Gear and last and not least is the computer room with 6 Apple computers so you can keep in touch with all your friends that didn't make it to camp. If after all that you still can't decide where to hang out there's "Sanford and Son", the couches on the stoop, where you can chill, drink slurpees, eat ice cream, make friends and keep up with everything going on in The Dorm.
  • All you can eat hot breakfast at 21 Steps
  • On mountain lunch made fresh every morning and brought up to the glacier for you, served smorgasbord style so everything is fresh
  • Free use of demo equipment supplied by our sponsors
  • Transfers to and from Vancouver Airport (within scheduled times)

  • Our Own Buildings

Deluxe option includes accommodations in "THE DORM". We've hooked up with Whistler Blackcomb to create THE DORM where we can do what ever we want. There are four campers per two bedroom suite. We've turned "The Dorm" into the coolest mountain bike oriented hotel anywhere. One of the buildings was completely refurbished in 2007 and our second building is being refurbished as I type this. The Dorm has better security, the coolest staff, no crusties, other guests, Olympic profiteers/accommodation companies anywhere, both buildings are filled with mountain bikers, snowboarders, skiers. Taking camper comments to heart, we now have made all the bikers rooms in the same place for more of a club feel. Your bike is allowed in the rooms, you can ride in the halls until 7:00 PM and more. There are four campers per two bedroom suite. Not four camper to a one bedroom suite like other bike camps.

  • Best in Park Coaching Ratio of 1:3

All coaching is "One-on-One" in small groups with a ratio of 1 coach to every 3 campers. A grouping ratio of one coach per chair. That means you spend the most time with your coach and learn more. No other camp comes close to COC's coaching ratio.
  • All Day Coaching

Coaching all day, every day from 10am to 4-4:30pm. Our rock stars and soon to be rock stars coach all day, hit the after riding activities with you and chill at the hotel as well. That is how you make friends for life and learn the most.
  • Brand New Bikes - Not Rentals

Free use of brand new top of the line bikes supplied by our sponsors, Norco, Transition and Banshee and safety equipment supplied by TSG
  • Pro Photo Shoots®

Every day pro photographer Mike Crane rides with the different crews. Every day he sets up shoots in different parts of the park with multiple flashes and more then shoots all the campers and coaches "givin' er". Every night the photos are posted on the COC website and on pinkbike.com for downloading. Each fall we edit up videos from each session from all the footage that Camp Director Ken Achenbach films. We then post it online for everyone to download. Campers go home with CD filled with every picture shot during their week at camp. If riding the park with our coaches doesn’t make you feel like a rock star, being part of your own pro photo shoot with lights, flashes, video cameras and still cameras nothing will. The photos you see on the site are from this years shoots. Most of the photos are of campers. Next year it will be you throwing down and turning up on our site. No other Gravity Camp offers this. Oh wait, now they do - you get one photo.
  • Airdome Coaching Sessions

The Airdome is a 10,000 square foot playground filled with a giant foam pit for learning tricks safely and wooden ramps for learning transition riding. It’s awesome. We session it a couple times a week. You learn so much in the Airdome it will amaze you. The Banshee riders that we have coaching you in the Airdome rule it. The COC photographer and videographer will be right there with you chronicling it.
  • Ride Along Mechanic®

Part of learning to ride better is not missing runs due to a mechanical. Our Ride Along Mechanic® is in the park with the campers, changing tubes, fixing mechanicals etc. If he can't fix it on the spot, he swaps bikes with you and you keep riding and he takes your bike and fixes it. EPIC! That's worth a couple of runs a day added to your trip.
  • Free Tubes

The Whistler Bike Park eats tires. If you flat at camp our Ride Along Mechanic® is there to fix the flat and hook you up with a new tube.
  • All You Can Eat Hot Breakfast

We changed where we eat breakfast after camper input said they wanted to eat with all the snowboard and ski campers at 21 Steps. Done. All you can eat hot breakfast at 21 Steps
  • Lunch at The GLC

Supposedly there is no "Free Lunch" At The Camp of Champions there is. We eat at the "GLC" right at the base of the Bike Park so we can watch people eat it in the Boneyard while we eat lunch. Our lunch is off the hook, Click here to see our lunch menu.
  • Transfers to and from Vancouver Airport (within scheduled times)
  • BYOB - Bring Your Own Bike

Save $300 CDN per 8 day session if you bring your own DH bike. (Conditions apply) Before you think, “I’ve got a full suspension bike, I’ll save money and bring it”, beware, the Whistler Bike Park eats bikes that aren’t worthy and you will spend more fixing your bike than you saved.
